The World Cup and BI – A Solid Investment

The World Cup is the most prestigious soccer tournament in the world, and it is happening now! Preparation for this event is massive. Host countries are expected to have 8-10 stadiums to hold matches along with transportation and infrastructure to support the fans. Qatar, the host for World Cup 2022, built seven new stadiums, an airport, additional transportation systems, and almost 100 new hotels. It was a huge investment that comes with an almost guaranteed return.  So is establishing a business intelligence program.

The standard economics of BI require a large investment up front in time, money, and people.  I know our founder is doing a deep dive into this on next week’s blog, so I won’t spend too much time here.  The gist of what I’m saying is that Qatar could see the future economic reward for hosting the World Cup and made the investment to make it happen without flinching. You can start your BI program with the same level of confidence that it will yield results.  Even more so when partnering with us – our process, tool, and expertise minimizes the investment needed to get started. Let’s start together today!

It was exciting to watch the USA advance to the World Cup knockout stage!  We’re glad to hear that Christian Pulisic is ok and hopeful to play the Netherlands in the round of 16 match on Saturday. We say “good game” to the Iranian soccer team. We respect that they gave their all till the end of the match, and we hope everything works out ok for them and their families moving forward.
